So says Simon West, who has been tapped to direct the indie Tsunami LA, according to Deadline Hollywood. West will be working with screenwriter Scott Windhauser on the film, in which the largest tsunami ever recorded devastates Los Angeles.
West’s credits include directing The Expendables 2, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, The General’s Daughter, and Con Air, and executive producing Black Hawk Down. Windhauser’s writing credits include action and horror indies Cops and Robbers, Vengeance: A Love Story, and Larceny.
