Oh, look, it’s aliens again.
In a rare Australian contribution, Occupation tells the story of a small group of civilian survivors after a massive alien invasion has occurred all around the globe. Our plucky heroes must evade capture and figure out how to fight back against impossible odds if Earth is to survive.
The film is director Luke Sparke’s second feature (after Red Billabong), and was written by Spark with an assist from actor Felix Williamson (Happy Feet, The Great Gatsby). Stars include Dan Ewing, Temuera Morrison, and Stephany Jacobsen.
Occupation opens on July 26 in New Zealand. No word yet on a U.S. release.
